PLACE IN THE ORGANIZATION
Our Head of Primary will respond directly to the General Head and will be in charge of the entire Primary pedagogical area.

​

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Take overall responsibility for the ongoing organizational planning, development and implementation of teaching and learning in Primary. Our Primary Head will be an active ambassador for the school in the community and beyond.

​

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for producing the following results:

​

1. Ensure that Godspell students acquire the necessary tools so that they commit to being:

​

• A person who achieves Understanding by being protagonists of their learning.

• A person who uses their freedom with responsibility by developing their own Autonomy.

• A person who Thinks Rigorously, committing themselves to Intellectual Values.

• A person who develops their Multiple Intelligences giving the best of themselves by developing their Singularity.

• A student who not only learns, but also learns to think how they think and acts accordingly, developing their Metacognition.

• A student who promotes the Encounter with others by attaining Unity. ​

• A Christian who lives the Values of the Godspell.

2. Ensure that teachers, through their performance in the preparation of their classes and in the class itself, show excellent academic results. Supervise the implementation of pedagogical innovations, exercising leadership.

3. Achieve a high quality in the organization of the section by carrying out the necessary tasks.

​

PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS

​

• Advanced level of English.

• Have previous experience in a leadership position.

• Have an open and critical mind to reinvent education for the world of today and tomorrow.

• Possess qualifying title or relevant to the position.

• Demonstrate strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to enhance collaboration and partnership between staff, students, parents, and the community.

• Be sensitive and familiar with a wide range of student learning needs.

• Be able to trust and empower a team.

• Preferably live near our school (GBA zona norte).
