At Godspell we create a climate of values and build a meeting place.
The Art of Living Godspell Values
"Through art we give form to our feelings and thoughts about ourselves, and how we experience the world around us"*
Counselling:
With The Art of Living Godspell Values (ALGV) we create an atmosphere of values where students are encouraged to reach their full potential. We have a professional Counseling team who work, together with all our staff for the social-emotional well-being of all our students.
In the Godspell we have a Counseling team made up of a Director and a group of psychologists, psychopedagogues, counsellors and pedagogues who exercise the tutoring and study guide of each student from K4 to Senior 3. We specialize in a Student-Centered Education, we see each student integrally from all their intellectual and social capacities (Social-emotional Learning).
Depending on the age of the students, different goals related to the individual and group evolutionary themes of the children are worked on. The aim is to achieve the best of each one through self-knowledge and the development of their emotional intelligence. The intra and interpersonal areas are monitored and monitored, emphasizing the group link, generating and developing a sense of belonging.
We educate in and for the Values: How do we do it?
Knowing the good. Wishing the good. Doing the good.
To educate in values we need:
• Model: Study of a character, institution or movement that is a model of value. His life, his ideals, his achievements. What can we learn from them? What we do
• Inculcate: Through phrases, newspaper articles, texts, illustrations, case analysis, testimonies, songs, stories, the presence of values and the formation of habits are sought.
• Clarify: What is and what is not a value. What is the deep meaning of value. What other values guarantee it. What is your story? How it differs from the other values.
• Develop skills: Activities to work collaboratively, develop critical spirit, raise discussions and dilemmas. Facilitate learning: Ask questions, listen, argue, resolve conflicts, be creative. Develop intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual skills.
"Day by day, day by day,
Oh Dear Lord Three things I pray.
To see Thee more clearly,
Love Thee more dearly,
Follow Thee more nearly,
Day by day"
Godspell - The Musical
Godspell is a Catholic school.
From Kindergarten the children begin their experiences of meeting with Jesus. There are spaces to develop their childhood faith, enriching the adult model that explains the love of God with narratives, songs and audiovisuals.
In Primary we begin to discover and awaken in the astonishment of the Word of Jesus, to develop a serene and cheerful spirituality. At school we live a climate of love of God, which takes care of us and guides our steps in this path of growth and personal improvement.
There are times dedicated to theology, to the experiences of spiritual coexistence, and there are spaces and times for prayer and the encounter with the Virgin Mother. At this stage, children receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion.
In Intermediate, adolescence appears with its questions in the search for Truth. It is a time when young people seek to guide their lives and discover their mystery to surrender lovingly and let themselves be loved.
In Senior that search is fulfilled by the experience of working deeply the interiority, the knowledge of himself and in encounter with others. Experiences of the presence of God are carried out in the daily climate of the faith of the school and in the meetings of catechesis and spiritual retreats. These are spaces and times dedicated to meeting oneself, with others and with God. In Senior II, students re-confirm their faith by receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. In this process of being a person with a deep spiritual consciousness, the evangelizing motto of the school is embraced as a mission of life and commitment: “Go into the world and preach the Good-spell to the whole creation”.
